who are able to decipher their codes.This study recommends that: enhancing citizens’ awareness of national security through amendments of academic curriculum at all educational levels; taking all necessary counter-measures to respond to the advancements of social media used by extremist groups and

taking pre-emptive measures by blocking terrorist’s social media from spreading information and analyzing their information carefully to react at the right time; adopting transparency principle for the official media to interpret and explain events and information to the people in order to justify

the roles of official media and keep people’s confidence; and improving electronic capabilities to effectively counter and limit terrorist’s technologies.
