臺灣早期被西方人稱之福爾摩沙，在這座美麗的島嶼上有著包羅萬象的珍貴資源與生物，如令人歎為觀止的自然景觀、獨特的鳥獸魚蟲、叢林花卉等，住在這塊土地上的我們是相當幸福能夠擁有這些自然資源與珍禽異獸為伴。但隨著時代的變化及開發，人們為了追求生活開始大量侵犯自然寶地，如濫伐森林、填土造地、建造工業區及高聳的建築物等，使這些寶貴的資源遭受到污染，如人為垃圾掩埋造成的土地變質、工廠私排廢水造成的水污染、工廠火力發電排放廢氣造成的空氣污染等，許多野生動物因為人類這些偏差的行徑不斷地減少甚至滅絕。本創作研究主題為「臺灣保育鳥類之撲克牌設計創作研究」，研究方法為文本分析法與創作實證法。文本分析法蒐集與研究相關

之文獻資料與本創作所運用之圖像學理論，對其加以探討與分析；創作實證法為結合前述資料探討之結果，後執行於本研究之撲克牌設計創作。本創作完成之撲克牌為基本張數五十四張，與牌背版之視覺圖像設計，總計五十五幅作品。每張撲克牌畫面之構圖將針對於各種不同保育鳥類，運用圖像學理論與手繪插畫進行圖像創意設計繪製，並將使其所遇之威脅因素皆轉化為圖象輔以結合於整體牌面圖中。每張牌之對應野鳥於畫面中皆呈現其獨特之姿；牌面色彩使用高明度、高彩度用色，畫面構圖運用對比性與空間距離配置的方式，使畫面於視覺上更具層次感，凸顯每種鳥類之特色，亦使圖中欲表達之保育觀念意識達到理想之傳遞效果。研究者期盼大眾使用此副撲克牌進行娛樂

時當下亦能於每張牌卡圖中獲得啟發與反思，後續能更加關注留意於保育相關之議題。
